Thanx for the info on the sites, Em. I will check them out this Sunday - my only day off this week. My book. The first full-length book is about a haunted house. The second is a collection of short stories. And the third, I am nearing halfway on the first book in a planned trilogy feathuring vamps and weres. They've gotten very good reviews from the people who have sample read them. I hope to be printing the first book in hardcover in the next two years - I've never tried submitting because I want to control everything and reap all the profit myself. I will say I dedicated the first book to my first cat and to MTW. If I ever get a movie deal, MTW has a definite role waiting for him. Frank

I took a cruise to those sites, Emily. I found several 8x10's I'll be getting. No posters, tho. Bastards. I did find a board that has a thumbnail of a pic I want, but you can't get a larger image, cuz when you click on it - it says link not found or expired or something like that. It's a nice pic, too. It's autographed, maybe that's why you can't click on it for a larger image and then do what you shouldn't do - download. Frank

Frank, That's cool! Are these your first three books, then, to be published? Do any publishers have any idea you want to get them published, or is this still a dream/goal? *curious* As for the MTW dedication, GO FRANK!!! - I hope you eventually get a movie deal, and then MTW would be able to star. ~sabs

Hey, I want to print my books myself, that way I get all the profit instead of just a dollar or two for each hardcover sold. I was disgusted to learn you had to be a BIG name to get more than that. IMagine my shock when I was told the average author gets a profit of 29-50 CENTS per $7.99 paperback sold. I want to publish myself so I get all the profits and can publish more, like I said; the downside is that I have to come up with the initial capitol to print the first printing of my book. And that amount isn't so small. But I have faith I will save the money, that's why I am trying to put up a webstore - I'll keep my job to pay the bills - where I can take the money I make from the webstore and save it 'til I have enogh to print the first book. That's my goal. If it never happens, well, I 'll still be writing those books anyway. Frank

Frank, Hey... I think it's cool you have such big goals and dreams. I hope you raise enf money to do that (or possibly a publisher that'd give you more than that little bit). ~Sabrina (aka sabs)
