I got this from Jamie Denton's chatgroup on Yahoo! Groups. My eyes lit-up like you wouldn't believe...
"We'll be seeing Patrick Bauchau, who played "Sydney" on the Pretender,
as the main bad guy on Threat Matrix in a couple of weeks. He plays
'Frederic Vorn' in the episode, "Flipping" (Nov 20, unless ABC changes
the schedule)."
You all need to see this episode, Jamie is the good guy and Patrick becomes the bad guy...must see TV.

lol now if that isn't a twist!! ;D (A twist worthy of the Pretender!!!) (here's to hoping they bring Threat Matrix down under... maybe in a year or two we'll get to see it.... arghhh all this board has done to me today is depress me, right now I'm desperately in need of good news  ) |

Jay, i saw this and just started laughing. You totally called this one. there was some other show that Jon Gries, PB, Ashley Peldon and Ryan Merriman were in together, but i forget the name. I am really excited to see Jamie and Patrick together again -- and in reverse roles (Syd as bad guy, JD as good guy). This will be awesome!

So, who (besides Jay) saw the episode? How weird was that to see the two of them on screen together, in reversed roles -- Syd as the psycho murderer and Lyle trying to reason with him?
Geez, I did it again! It is so hard to think of them as anything but Sydney and Mr. Lyle. Okay, let me try again:
Patrick Bachau as the bad guy and Jamie Denton as the hero.

Vorn's lacky grabbed one of the good guys and put him in a car. Not just any car...a Centre sweeper issue, black Lincoln Towncar!!
oh...and when Vorn asked who Kilmer (Denton) was, I ahlf expected to here "My name is Mr. Lyle"

I noticed the car!
I was thinking that JD was going to say "a friend" like in "Crazy" when Syd is in Renewal Wing and Lyle comes in after Raines -- ya know what I'm talking about?
Also, as Frankie was describing Syd's character, she said "his name, phone number, and address change almost weekly" -- sound familiar?
I wonder what it must have been like to shoot that last scene with the two of them together again. Do you think it was weird, or that they maybe fell into their old roles as they acted together? It would be interesting to know what that was like for PB and JD.
