This just hit me...why does it seem that atleast half of the Pretender episodes are depressing?
You have "Under the Reds" which leads to a teen being unplugged from life support. The Season 1 finale which leads to Kyle being "killed". Todays episode that revolves around a freshman being killed in a plane crash...closing scene of the boy's house and basketball hoop. Red Rock Jarod which leads to Kyle's actual death with his heart being donated...closing shot is of Jarod telling his brother he did a good job.
I'm sure there are more, but those are the ones that got me. Anybody have a reason why?

its a good idea...just after a while I start to wonder what new way Pretender will rip my heart out and stomp it dead, every time i watch (aside from the 3000 foot cliffhanger we get).
